Swedish Folk Music Treasures: Tore Lindqvist

What you are about to enjoy is the second offering of the Swedish Folk Music Treasures series featuring fiddler Tore Lindqvist playing with his  longtime favorite partner Julia Ryberg. Tore was born on the farm Fiskeså in Närtuna, Roslagen on June 18, 1914. He began playing the violin when he was ten years old.

Filming took place in the Lindqvist home in Närtuna, outside Rimbo, Uppland, on a cold and snowy day in March 2003.

All my Treasures films were originally for sale and distributed in DVD format. In 2024 I decided to release the films on YouTube.
